NBIoT Communication Module to Realize independent installation of energy meter and unified electrical interface

 

  • Product Overview

1. TW-NBIoT is a communication module for single and three-phase smart watt hour meters based on edge computing. The electrical            interface is unified to avoid the secondary development of the electric energy meter.

2. NB-IoT smart meter communication module is embedded with high-performance, low-power, multi-band NB-IoT wireless communication module and low-power 32-bit microprocessor. As long as the use environment of smart electricity meters is within the coverage of NB-IoT communication network, it can realize the instant access of electricity meters to the management platform, receive and respond to the reading/control instructions issued by the platform. At the same time, it can effectively control the upload cycle and reporting tasks and other operating parameters within the communication module. Automatically acquire various data of the electricity meter and upload it to the cloud platform on a regular basis. The communication module can directly replace the PLC module or small wireless module of the current electricity meter. Realize NB-IoT network access and establish connection with operator cloud platform.

 

  • Main functions and features
  1. Built in MCU, with edge computing capability;
  2. The communication module has the ability to automatically obtain the unique communication address information of the currently equipped smart meter after power-on. And realize binding with its own remote communication address;
  3. LoRaWAN wireless remote mode can flexibly configure the operation parameters such as task list and upload cycle time required by the communication module to automatically execute the active upload task;
  4. Professional interface data flow automatic control technology. Give priority to the instruction frame issued by the platform gateway. Complete real-time two-way transparent transmission;
  5. The standard smart meter communication interface and module box design of the State Grid shall be adopted. It is suitable for most smart meters and can be replaced directly (hot plug).
  6. The configured parameters can be saved when the module is powered down. Automatic recovery when power is restored.
  7. Independent power conversion circuit and power enable control circuit. Effectively use DC12V power supply of module interface and I/O control output of ammeter.
