TimeWave Cat.1 communication module-TW-Cat1 based on edge computering to realize independent installation of smart meter
TW-Cat1 is a communication module for single and three-phase smart watt hour meters based on edge computing. Realize independent installation of single and three-phase intelligent energy meters. The electrical interface is unified, avoiding the secondary development of the electric energy meter.
Cat1 (4G) smart meter communication module is embedded with a network communication module with LET Cat.1 and GPRS dual-mode and a high-speed 32-bit microprocessor. As long as the use environment of smart electricity meters is within the scope of Cat1 communication network, the instant access management platform of electricity meters can be realized. Receive and respond to the reading/control instructions issued by the platform. At the same time, it can automatically acquire various data of the electric energy meter by effectively controlling the upload cycle and reporting tasks and other operating parameters within the communication module. Regularly and actively upload to the cloud platform. The communication module can directly replace the PLC module or small wireless module of the current electricity meter. Realize Cat.1 network access and establish connection with the specified server platform through TCP protocol.
Main functions and features
